For bigger buildings where a concierge/guard exists, an Integrated system makes more efficient use of their time, as well as minimizing space need to house the control equipment.
A computer is used with a perimeter layout of the building so that the concierge/guard can see what door has been accessed, what alarm has been breached, and generally what is happening in the building. This system incorporates all the security systems in the building including Door Entry System, Alarm System, Fire Alarm System & Access Control System. From this single point the concierge/guard can have instant access to program the systems, monitor the building and respond instantly.
